New Alliance2015 report: Fostering Democratic Ownership - Towards Greater Impact on Poverty

Copenhagen, 22/04/08: The NGO partnership Alliance2015 has recently published a report on ownership and aid effectiveness. The new report titled Fostering Democratic Ownership – Towards Greater Impact on Poverty has been has been produced as a contribution to preparatory discussions in advance of the third High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness to be held in Accra in September 2008.

The new report is based on a set of country case studies (Bolivia, Ghana, Mozambique and Nicaragua) and focuses on the extent to which the Paris Declaration – the subject of September's High Level Forum – promotes “democratic ownership” in specific country contexts.
