Revised Development Policy Statement adopted by Council
Brussels, 22 November 2005: Council of the EU gives its approval to revised EU Development Policy Statement.
Meeting in its development configuration on Monday 22 November, the General Affairs and External Relations Council, (GAERC), finally adopted the document entitled "The European Consenus on Development". The European Parliament is expected to give its formal approval to the document before the end of the year.
