UNIFEM-EC conference on the fight against cervical cancer
Brussels, 02/10/07: The UNIFEM-EC conference Fight against cervical cancer: challenges and opportunities for women's health was held on 27-28 September at the Palais d'Egmont in Brussels.
The conference, which was hosted by the Belgian government and facilitated by EEPA, brought together a wide range of stakeholders, including the EC and UNIFEM (who were the co-convenors), representatives of governments in Europe and the global south, civil society actors as well as the private sector.
All of the speeches and presentations from the two-day conference as well as a series of background papers are published on the conference website. A report of the conference has also been published on the conference website.
